4-  8.5x11 heavy card stock
pencil
ruler
bone fold or scoring tool
glue
cutter
scissors

step 1a)
on one sheet of 8.5x 11 cut to 8.5 to 8 1/4.
need to cut 2 - 8 1/4 x 5 1/4, you can get both from one sheet of paper.

step 1b)
score 1" from the 2 short sides and 1 long side.

step 2a)
on the 2nd sheet of paper of 8.5 x 11 you will need 2- 4 1/4 x 5 1/4
you can get both from one sheet of paper.

step 2b)
score 1" from one short side

step 2c)
you will glue the flaps from step 1b to the flaps from step 2b
you will have a somewhat rectangle box.

step 3a)
on the 3rd sheet of 8.5x 11 we will need 2- 6 1/4 x 4 1/4
you can get both from one sheet of paper.

step 3b)
you will glue the 2 rectangles from step 3a to the bottom inside on the flaps and the 2nd one
you will glue to the very bottom so you see no flaps.

step 4a)
on the 4th sheet of 8.5 x 11 you will need 1- 8 1/4 x 6 1/4

step 4b)
score 1" from all 4 sides you will cut 2 tabs with 2 small cuts.... where the 2 score lines meet on
one of the long sides fold the sides and glue the tabs to the inside of the neighboring flap. On the other
long side you will need to cut an extra 20 degree angle larger. You will glue this flap to the back side of
the box.

***If you want to use decorated scrapbook paper or other papers. For the front and back you will need
6 1/4 x 4 1/4" and for the sides 4 1/4x 4 1/4.  For the lid I would trace after the cuts. I would glue the
paper to the lid first then the other papers so the flap for the lid would be covered.
